Verona Art Tour

Verona art tour 23rd to 29th of March

Discover March Verona: A Spring Journey to the Heart of Italy

Imagine: bridges leading you to golden horizons, a lace of shadows covering ancient stones, blooming gardens, and the honeyed aromas of spring. This is not just a dream — it’s March Verona.

Here, amidst the shadows of Dante and the rhymes of Catullus, you will feel the gentle “baptism of Italy,” from Fellini to Tornatore. Thousands of stories intertwine like streams merging into one whole. In this journey, you will not just observe — you will experience, meet local legends, and create your own works of art.

Join us for unforgettable days in the most picturesque City in Italy!

We invite you to spend spring days in this enchanting city, to feel its immortal spirit through stories gathered by wise grandpa Kiko Perotti — Leo, and to capture your Verona in a series of picturesque sketches. We promise you will feel cozy, intimate, and productive.

   Day 1: Meeting in Paradise

Our journey begins at a secluded agriturismo surrounded by lush olive groves and blooming cherry orchards of Verona. You will reside in a stunning art residence with cozy rooms, a shared kitchen, and a fireplace, where you can enjoy local farm cheeses and delightful prosciutto with warm rosemary focaccia, as well as the sparkling Barbagianni, a true pride of the San Mattia agriturismo.

Day 2: Creative freedom and adventure

After breakfast on the sunny terrace, we begin our first creative day. Sveta will show you and guide you through every stage of the painting process. You will capture blooming cherry trees on canvas and learn to feel color through your body and emotions, using Sveta’s unique method.

During this process, you will not only create your first works but also get acquainted with the history of Verona — stroll through the picturesque streets and start exploring the architectural masterpieces of the city, including gothic paintings and the majestic Cathedral of Saint Zeno. We will end the day with dinner at a cult restaurant where dishes are inspired by the letters of Dante himself.

    Day 3: Renewal and Inspiration

After a delicious breakfast, we dive into the creative process! This time, the streets and rooftops of Verona, enveloped in clouds of peach orchards, will become your models. Sveta and Kiko will help you quickly grasp the character and proportions of objects, highlighting the main elements in your composition.

After a light lunch, we will head to the mysterious Giardino Giusti, where sunny paths and slender cypress trees will inspire your sketches. Everything here is magical, and the spirit of creativity lingers in the air.

You will also visit an atmospheric Renaissance palace and enjoy wall ornaments filled with flowers and life. To wrap up the day, we will immerse ourselves in an exciting lecture about the frescoes of the San Fermo temple, where each image tells its own story.

Day 4. Sigurta Park.

In the morning, we will head to one of the most beautiful private parks in Verona - Parco Sigurta, one of the most beautiful garden in Europe!

We will paint blooming trees, the mirrored lakes of white lilies, boxwood mazes, and rivers of tulips.

The theme of our painting will be the plans within the artwork.

During the break, we will organize a picnic for you with young wine and local products.

Day 5. The Language of Creativity.

We will paint flower bouquets with a view of Verona.

We will learn to paint cohesively, set harmony, and generalize.

We will discuss contrasts, courage, freedom, and personal style.

By evening, we will find ourselves in a private art museum in Verona, Palazzo Maffei.

Here, you will see a rare collection of paintings by Italian artists from the 20th century and listen to a lecture by Svetlana Perotti on how to read art.

Day 6. Sfumato.

We will paint the golden dawn of Verona.

The day will be dedicated to an assignment: a quick plein air study. We will paint impressions (flowers, trees, sun glints on vineyards) using the technique of “free painting.” We will explore the principles of sfumato.

After lunch, we will visit the Perotti art studio, located 100 meters from Juliet's balcony.

We will view the latest works of Sveta and Kiko, and with a glass of local wine, we will listen to Svetlana Perotti's lecture about women in art.

In the evening, we will discover the stunning Church of Saint Anastasia - the favorite church of Veronese. We will learn our flower signs, make wishes at the power points of the temple, and admire the unique musical frescoes.

Dinner will be at a restaurant with original frescoes from the 8th century.

Day 7.

Optionally, we will paint the dawn. We will pack our paintings. We will have breakfast and say goodbye.
